Operate Cenovus thermal facilities near Spruce Lake using equipment troubleshooting and safety-focused operations. This rural Saskatchewan role requires 12-hour rotating shifts.

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, the Plant Operator supports Upstream Thermal Operations at the Spruce Lake Central and North Thermal facilities. The role involves facility operations, condition monitoring, operational records, and equipment maintenance. You will work with panel operators, maintenance, engineering, and support services to meet production targets safely.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate facilities safely and efficiently with the operations team
- Maintain and troubleshoot area-specific equipment for optimized performance
- Conduct sampling, testing,



and condition monitoring activities
- Complete volume balances, log sheets, permits, and reports
- Coach, train, and assess current employees when required

Requirements:

- Minimum 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate
- At least five years of oil and gas experience
- SAGD operations experience preferred
- Knowledge of safety, regulatory standards, and procedures
- Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
