The Hudson Regional Cancer Program, a leading provider of Cancer Care in the North Simcoe Muskoka region, is seeking dedicatedRadiation Therapiststo join our dynamic team. As a key member of our program, you will play a crucial role in all aspects of radiation planning and treatment processes, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment including 5 Varian linear accelerators (4 True Beam, 1 Clinac) with advanced capabilities and a Bravos HDR Afterloader for brachytherapy treatment. Are you a Radiation Therapy Student?

Radiation Therapy students are encouraged to apply and have the opportunity to join our team in advance of fulfilling their degree/diploma requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor of Science, Medical Radiation Sciences, specialty Radiation Therapy
- Registration as an M.R.T.(T) with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required
- Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support required
- Member of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)orthe Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences (OAMRS) recommended
- Knowledge of Radiation Safety and relevant legislation

You will be a excellent fit for this position if you have:

- Excellent technical, communication, organizational, patient care, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated adaptability, compassion, initiative and interpersonal skills
- The ability to take ownership of your own learning by seeking out feedback and opportunities for improvement.
