Bring painting expertise to Southwest Properties across HRM, preparing and finishing residential suites and common areas with careful attention to quality.

This full time Painter works Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The work includes occupied and unoccupied apartments, building common areas, drywall preparation, repairs, and painting. You will respond to work orders, coordinate scheduling, and support tenant relations across the Southwest Properties portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair, tape, mud, and sand drywall before painting
- Patch wall holes and remove switch plates
- Paint walls, cupboards, closets, bathrooms, and stairways
- Respond promptly to service requests and work orders
- Maintain inventory and communicate supply needs

Requirements:

- Three to four years of similar experience
- Painting course or certificate
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- WHMIS, Fall Arrest, and First Aid
- Criminal Records Check completion
