Lead highway maintenance crews with Ledcor Highways Ltd., using heavy equipment operation and safety leadership outdoors across Alberta. Support Forepersons and protect traveling public safety.

This Lead Hand supports highway maintenance operations and experienced crews throughout Alberta Provincial Highways. You will operate snowplow trucks and wheel loaders, assist with labourer duties, and coordinate daily safety activities. The work requires supervisory experience, organization, and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and heavy equipment
- Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways throughout the year
- Assist with crack sealing, pothole repair, and hazard remediation
- Support toolbox meetings, inspections,



and condition reports
- Monitor crew work quality and address safety concerns

Requirements:

- Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 licence with air endorsement
- Explicit three-year driver's abstract
- Previous supervisory highway maintenance or road construction experience
- Understanding of provincial or municipal maintenance specifications
- Successful pre-employment drug, alcohol, and audiogram testing
