This Service Writer connects customers with the service shop while supporting repair progress. You will create service orders, estimate costs and work time, calculate charges, process invoices, and communicate updates. The position also involves warranty interpretation, parts research, and accurate repair documentation for truck and trailer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Determine the nature of customers' repair issues
- Create service orders with estimated costs and work time
- Monitor repair progress and update customers
- Calculate charges, invoice customers, and secure payments
- Research parts and equipment for the service shop

Requirements:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate
- Excellent customer service and robust communication skills
- Microsoft Office and standard office equipment proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude and basic service shop understanding preferred
- Availability Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
