Apply industrial electrical expertise with Nova Scotia Power’s Underground Team in Coldbrook, maintaining underground transmission and distribution systems.

As an Electrician (Industrial), you will report to the Underground Supervisor and perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work. The permanent, full time position requires a Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification and troubleshooting experience. You will support planned and unplanned assignments, emergency restoration, regulatory training, and safe work practices throughout Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, commission, maintain, and repair underground electrical plant
- Assist with emergency and storm-related power restoration
- Travel throughout the province and support other locations




- Participate in regulatory and on-the-job training programs
- Observe occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements

Requirements:

- Journeyman Industrial Electrician certification required
- Minimum two years troubleshooting electrical equipment
- Valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License and driving experience
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to work on call and in extreme conditions
