Deliver professional nursing care at AgeCare Queens Garden using geriatric nursing knowledge and transparent direction for Personal Support Workers. Work alongside the health care team.

As a Registered Practical Nurse, you provide resident care according to medical requirements and professional nursing practice. You collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, external health care partners, and other team members. Your knowledge supports care coordination, resident-status communication, and nursing-home operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement AgeCare policies and procedures with the Registered Nurse
- Liaise with physicians and external health care partners
- Notify physicians about significant resident-status changes when required
- Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team




- Participate in shift reports and communicate resident-status changes

Requirements:

- Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
- Background in activation, nursing, and personnel administration
- Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Knowledge of applicable nursing-home legislation and practice standards
