Support older adults with complex medical conditions at Baycrest Hospital as a temporary part-time Personal Support Worker on day shifts.

Working in Complex Continuing Care, you will provide personal care alongside Registered Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses. Your work supports patients’ quality-of-life goals through hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, nutrition, hydration, and preventative skin care. You will also help preserve independence, dignity, and social, emotional, and cultural well-being. The schedule includes alternate weekends and 30 bi-weekly hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting needs
- Record patients’ nutrition and hydration intake
- Provide preventative skin care with nursing consultation
- Support independence, dignity,



and cultural well-being
- Maintain relationships with families and care providers

Requirements:

- Current Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent education and experience
- Post-acute or acute care experience preferred
- Psychogeriatric and dementia experience preferred
- Gentle Persuasive Approach and U-First training preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills
