Coordinate large electrical transmission projects with Valard Construction in Calgary, using scheduling, cost tracking, and field communication skills. Support delivery across Western Canada.

Reporting to the Director, Transmission Western Canada, this experienced Construction Project Coordinator supports project planning, execution, and delivery. You will coordinate field construction staff, design engineers, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders. The work also supports safety, environmental compliance, quality standards, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop schedules, milestones, and project execution plans
- Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, and daily production reporting
- Track costs, financial performance, RFIs, and submittals




- Distribute current drawings, design changes, and technical specifications
- Compile reports, closeout records, and turnover packages

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in a related field
- Three years coordinating construction projects
- Understanding of project management concepts and tools
- Previous construction industry experience
- Electrical Infrastructure project experience is preferred
