Support facilities safety at the BC Hydro Surrey Campus through inspections, corrective repairs, and light preventive maintenance. This onsite role uses CMMS coordination daily.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician with Black & McDonald, you will support the Facility Manager and team across building systems and services. The work includes service calls, work orders, supplier coordination, and customer communication. Your technical experience will help maintain building-space availability and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan planned and corrective maintenance tasks with the team
- Conduct operational, safety, and site-condition inspections
- Respond to JDE work orders and tag completed assets




- Coordinate suppliers and supervise onsite maintenance activities
- Review risks, correct deficiencies, and improve productivity

Requirements:

- Three to five years in facilities or service industries
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Class 5 or higher British Columbia driver’s licence
- Basic computer skills with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Availability for emergency out-of-hours duties where applicable
