Provide resident care at SkyPointe as a part time Health Care Aide, using secure transfers, personal care, and meal assistance.

AgeCare seeks a Health Care Aide for temporary, part time work at 179 Skyview Circle NE. Under Licensed Practical Nurse supervision, you will collaborate with the care team to deliver safe, thorough basic care and services. The position supports resident comfort, well-being, mobility, nutrition, treatments, and participation in facility activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide bathing, showering, and washing according to care procedures
- Assist transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
- Feed residents and follow care plans for appropriate diets
- Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction




- Accompany residents to meals, therapy, recreation, and social functions

Requirements:

- Recognized Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate
- Active College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides registration
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset
