Maintain hotel safety and quality standards at Towne Place Suites by Marriott Thunder Bay using plumbing, electrical, and repair skills. Work across guest areas, equipment, and facilities.

As a Maintenance Worker, you will complete general building maintenance and repair duties throughout this hotel. The work includes minor plumbing, electrical systems, preventive maintenance, furniture repairs, and equipment checks. You will also support guest satisfaction through courteous responses, communication, and coordination with other departments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete minor repairs involving fixtures, equipment, lighting, and pipelines
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance and prepare equipment for daily operations
- Monitor electrical systems, access doors, air conditioning controls, and televisions




- Maintain guest rooms, entrances, grounds, pool, and exercise facilities
- Report unsafe conditions and malfunctioning equipment to supervisors

Requirements:

- One or more years of building maintenance and repair experience
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical skills, tools, and equipment
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays when required
