Work as a part time Cook at Extendicare, focusing on meal preparation for residents with dietary needs. You will ensure delicious meals are served safely and on time. Reporting directly to the Dietary Manager, your role as Cook includes preparing meals and ensuring food handling compliance. You'll prepare therapeutic diets, review production sheets, and manage special occasion meals. Active participation in dietary planning is crucial for this position.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and deliver food for residents and staff
• Follow production sheets and menu plans
• Manage temperature controls in storage
• Prepare meals for dietary restrictions
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate required
• Red Seal Certificate is an asset
• Proven experience in large quantity food prep
• Understanding of food regulations and dietary needs
