Keyera seeks a safety-focused Journeyman Millwright for a two-year contract at the Empress Plant, 120 kilometres outside Medicine Hat, Alberta.

This temporary position supports reliable gas plant operations through industrial mechanical maintenance. You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair rotating and stationary equipment. The work requires mechanical knowledge, sound judgment, technical interpretation, and team-oriented coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance following work plans
- Diagnose issues and recommend timely reliability repairs
- Coordinate safe shutdowns and start-ups with operations




- Complete documentation and communicate equipment conditions

Requirements:

- Valid Journeyman Millwright ticket
- Minimum five years of gas plant operations experience
- Industrial mechanical equipment maintenance and repair experience
- Technical drawing and equipment specification interpretation skills
- Knowledge of permitting, hazard assessment, and lockout procedures
