The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including Speech and Occupational Therapy, to meet student learning and social interactions. This role focuses on assisting students in social/emotional regulation and supporting the classroom teacher by reinforcing key practices and therapy methods. Strong organizational skills and effective communication are essential in this fast-paced, team-oriented position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students with social and emotional development needs
• Foster peer relationships and encourage language skills




• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for student support
• Provide classroom reinforcement under teacher guidance
• Utilize effective communication with students, staff, and parents
Requirements:
• Certificate or diploma in Early Learning and Child Care preferred
• SIVA training is an asset
• Competent with technology tools
• Strong organizational skills in a multi-task environment
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities
