Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an IMA Project Manager for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial services clients in New York, NY and Mississauga, ON.Responsibilities :The role will be part of the IMA (Internal Models Approach) project charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams whilst imparting subject matter expertise and know-how.Transformation / change management / PM experience with a focus on Capital Markets initiatives to address regulatory, audit, risk and control and / or risk management issuesWorking knowledge of Markets business, products, regulatory capital and Market Risk (Va R) or Credit riskAbility to influence and build collaborative relationships across Global Markets front-to-back stakeholders, e.G., trading desk, finance, operations, technology, risk managementManage multiple stakeholders to derive business requirements and assist Technology in understanding to allow them to translate into technical requirementsManage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teamsIdentify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or elevate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMsProduce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committeesBuild strong relationships, adopting a joined up approach, to support the execution of programsRequired Skills :Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant industry experienceBachelor's/University degree in relevant fieldsExperience with delivering IMA specific components (ES, NMRF, RFET, PLAT,



etc )Strong Market RIsk Experience and familiar with HVa R model managementExperience with FRTB and/or other material front office driven regulatory initiativesExperience with derivatives trading, risk and P&L flowsStrong & proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions are essentialHas significant experience in Capital Markets TransformationExcellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholdersA solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performanceAbility to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectivesThought leadership in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organizationDemonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem solving capabilityMust be an individual experienced in project management and with sufficient subject matter expertise in capital markets products and business lines to be able to provide meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable.Preferred Skills :Experience in Markets, Risk and Regulatory related projects/programsMaster's degree preferredProject Management certifications e.G.
