This role suits current Douglas College students or qualified peers from other institutions. The ideal candidates have completed relevant CMPT courses and possess knowledge of C++ and/or Python. Providing effective peer tutoring and lab support helps foster a collaborative and inclusive learning environment in Computing Science courses.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with programming concepts and lab instructions
• Support students in debugging and file management
• Encourage valuable coding practices and academic integrity




• Communicate course-related issues to the instructor
• Maintain lab setups and support CMPT class flow
Requirements:
• Current student at Douglas College or other accredited BC institution
• Completion of at least one CMPT course with a B+ or higher
• Knowledge of C++ and/or Python is required
• Previous tutoring or mentoring experience is an asset
• Ability to remain active and attentive during labs
