We are looking for a passionate Cook to join our Food Services team at Bombardier.

POSITION: Cook

WAGE: $20.86/hour

SCHEDULE / HOURS: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday to Friday

START DATE: As soon as possible

Job Responsibilities

- Assist the Chef in the preparation of daily meals and catering orders
- Prepare and cook food according to standardized recipes and established procedures
- Ensure production of meals for the hot food station
- Set up the workstation and prepare all required ingredients
- Monitor product quality and ensure smooth production operations
- Assist with cost control, inventory management, and inventory counts
- Apply and enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Participate in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Support operations and respond to team needs based on operational priorities
- Catering experience is considered an asset

Qualifications

- 2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Demonstrate initiative, autonomy, and strong organizational skills
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Customer service oriented with a commitment to client satisfaction
