Source underground mining talent for Hancon Mining in Timmins, Ontario, using proactive recruitment and strong workforce planning skills. This is a full time, permanent position.

Reporting to Human Resources, you will support Canadian operations while working closely with Operations and site leadership. The role coordinates sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, and mobilization. It requires responsiveness, organization, communication, and relationship-building across changing project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand manpower requirements and support project mobilizations
- Recruit miners, operators, mechanics, supervisors, and safety personnel
- Maintain candidate pipelines and accurate recruitment tracking
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, and industry contacts




- Coordinate screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, and mobilization

Requirements:

- Previous recruitment experience, preferably within mining or skilled trades
- Knowledge of underground mining roles and qualifications preferred
- Strong sourcing, interviewing, communication, and networking skills
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and changing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, job boards, and recruitment platforms
