Support residents at Providence Manor in downtown Kingston through person-centered care, daily living assistance, and attentive well-being monitoring. This part time position serves a 243-bed long-term care home.

As a Personal Support Worker, you work under nursing direction to deliver basic nursing and hygiene care. You follow resident care plans, report status changes, and support safety and comfort. Your work reflects Providence Care Centre values, the Resident’s Bill of Rights, and long-term care requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor resident well-being and report changes to nursing staff
- Follow care plans for assigned Resident Home Areas
- Assist with daily living activities, positioning, and ambulation
- Provide bowel, bladder, bathroom,



and specimen support
- Clean and provide bedpans or urinals as requested

Requirements:

- Personal Support Worker diploma or certificate from an accredited institution
- Long-term care or community support experience preferred
- Gentle Persuasive Approach completion preferred
- Dementia and palliative care experience preferred
- CPR Basic Rescuer and first-aid certification preferred
