Country Grocer Salt Spring Island is searching for three motivated Grocery Clerks. In this permanent position, you will engage directly with customers, pack orders into vehicles, and maintain clean and orderly stock. Your interpersonal skills will shine as you assist shoppers and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry customer purchases to vehicles and pack them
• Obtain items from stockroom or shelves for customers
• Direct customers to product locations within the store




• Unpack and organize new products as received
• Operate an electric pallet jack for inventory management
Requirements:
• Fluent in English for effective communication
• Capable of handling up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
• Experience in a grocery setting is an asset
• Client focused with strong interpersonal skills
• Organized, versatile, and reliable team player
