Use Red Seal electrical expertise at Weyerhaeuser’s Kenora Timberstrand Plant, troubleshooting automation and maintaining systems in permanent full-time work.

This Industrial Electrician reports to the Electrical and Instrument Supervisor in a highly automated manufacturing operation. The position maintains electrical, electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems throughout the plant. It also involves Allen-Bradley ControlLogix PLCs, industrial networks, SCADA, HMI, VFD drives, and SAP CMMS.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain electrical distribution, motor control centres, VFD drives, and motors
- Troubleshoot integrated electromechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot, program, and maintain ControlLogix PLC controllers




- Manage work orders and preventative maintenance through SAP CMMS
- Complete inspections, maintenance, construction, and plant improvement work

Requirements:

- Provincial or Interprovincial Red Seal Electrician certification
- Robust analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Willingness to work rotating 12-hour day and night shifts
- Three to five years of industrial experience preferred
