Lead commercial property accounting for Colliers in Toronto, preparing financial statements and analyzing complex property portfolios. This is a full-time hybrid position.

As a Senior Property Accountant, you will prepare individual and consolidated portfolio reporting, review financial results, and support Operations. The work includes CAM and tax questions, accounting policies, YARDI systems, and monthly reporting processes. You will also contribute to acquisitions, dispositions, controls, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare financial statements for complex property portfolios
- Analyze individual properties and consolidated client portfolios
- Identify monthly reporting issues with Operations




- Mentor junior Property Accountants on reporting and policies
- Support YARDI software testing and implementation

Requirements:

- Minimum five years commercial real estate accounting experience
- Experience with third-party retail property management is an asset
- Qualified designation CPA is a strong asset
- Strong Excel, Word, Outlook, and YARDI knowledge
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and teamwork abilities
