Support seniors at Fort Saskatchewan Care Community through compassionate daily care, resident assistance, and meaningful relationships in Alberta. Work within a Long Term Care team.

Reporting to a Wellness Manager, the Health Care Aide supports residents and families while helping cultivate happiness in daily life. You will provide assistance with activities of daily living, encourage resident connections, and contribute to comfort, dignity, and respect. This role supports residents in living fully every day.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming according to care plans
- Encourage use of glasses, hearing aids, and sensory aids
- Maintain access to canes, walkers, call bells, and devices
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, oral,



and dental support
- Encourage participation in individual and group resident programs

Requirements:

- Completed Health Care Aide program from an approved college
- Compassion and dedication to meaningful work supporting seniors
- Bedside care knowledge and treatment procedure proficiency
- Tact and diplomacy with seniors, families, and visitors
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and Canadian work eligibility
