Under principal direction and classroom teacher supervision, the Education Assistant supports students with physical disabilities, chronic health diagnoses, intellectual disabilities, and social, emotional, or behavioural needs. The work supports stated program goals and objectives at Howe Sound Secondary School. The assignment may include supervising designated areas inside or outside school before, during, or after school. The successful applicant must deliver a higher level of care.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

- Grade 12 completion and a special program
- Over six months through one year of related experience
- Capilano University Education Assistant Program preferred as special program
- Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License
- Basic First Aid and learning tools knowledge
