Afternoon shipping work awaits organized candidates at Wesgar in Port Coquitlam, preparing customer orders and handling documentation carefully. This full time, permanent role is performed in person on the 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM shift.
As a Shipper on Wesgar’s Shipping team, you will pack parts, create labels, and complete domestic and international shipping documentation. The work also includes loading shipments, moving products throughout the plant, and operating a forklift as required. Attention to detail, numeracy, and safe handling are central to the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pack customer orders according to specified requirements
- Create labels and shipping documentation
- Load and unload shipments safely
- Move products between plant buildings
- Maintain an organized work area
Requirements:
- Valid forklift certification
- Shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of ASTM packaging standards
- Strong accuracy with numbers and written information
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
