The NNDSB seeks an Intermediate Grade 7/8 Teacher for an LTO assignment beginning November 13, 2026, through the teacher’s early return. The position requires curriculum knowledge, literacy and numeracy support, technology integration, and effective communication. You will support varied learners, including at-risk students, while using EDSBY for learning and guardian communication.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support Intermediate Grade 7/8 student learning
- Apply Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
- Support literacy and numeracy schoolwide




- Integrate technology to document and evaluate student work
- Use EDSBY for learning and guardian communication

Requirements:

- Valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate
- Valid Ontario College of Teachers registration
- Intermediate teaching qualifications
- Experience with Apple software and mobile devices
- Understanding of wide-ranging learners and at-risk students
