In this role, you will keep construction equipment running smoothly on job sites, ensuring project uptime, worker safety, and operational efficiency.This role is open to both contract and non contract mechanics.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostics and repairs on heavy construction equipment including excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, rock trucks,



and compactorsConduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtimeRespond to mechanical breakdowns on job sites promptly and safelyMaintain accurate maintenance records and logsEnsure compliance with all safety regulations and company proceduresWork independently or with other mechanics/operators as requiredQualifications & RequirementsRed Seal Heavy Equipment Technician certification required (or journeyperson equivalent)Minimum 3 years’ experience working with heavy construction equipmentStrong understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, diesel engines, and mechanical diagnosticsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and terrainValid driver’s licence; Class 3 or higher considered an assetWillingness to travel to remote job sites as neededWork Schedule & DetailsCompetitive hourly wages based on experienceOvertime opportunities availableAccommodations and meals provided while in camp#J-18808-Ljbffr
