Provide personal care and daily living support part time at Fenelon Court, using communication skills and sound knowledge of personal care duties.

As a Personal Support Worker with Extendicare, you will follow supervisor-directed care plans for residents and clients. You will support seniors while applying organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. The work includes maintaining confidentiality, reporting changes, and supporting safety within established standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Support ambulation, mobilization, transfers, and adaptive aids
- Observe and report care, service, and condition changes
- Prepare nutritious meals and maintain clean, secure environments




- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support

Requirements:

- Personal Support Worker program graduate or provincial equivalent certificate
- Experience working with seniors in community health services
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Strong written, oral, interpersonal, and customer focus skills
- Ability to lift or transfer clients and obtain Vulnerable Sector Check
