Assess communication and swallowing disorders as a Speech Language Pathologist with Vancouver Coastal Health at UBC Hospital in Vancouver, BC. Perform VFSS and FEEVS within inpatient and outpatient settings.

This Speech Language Pathologist position provides patient, client, and family-centred care across inpatient settings and the dysphagia outpatient clinic. You will diagnose and treat disorders, prioritize referrals, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. The work includes client reports, education, consultation, research, and staff orientation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Prioritize referrals and schedule videofluoroscopic swallowing studies
- Perform VFSS and FEEVS independently
- Provide reports, education,



consultation, and in-service lectures
- Participate in rounds, risk management, research, and orientation

Requirements:

- Current CHCPBC registration as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Two years of recent related experience or equivalent
- Certified Practice Certificate E for FEEVS
- Knowledge of evidence-based practice and research methodology
- Ability to provide culturally secure care and communicate effectively
