Accounts Payable Specialist

DESCRIPTION

It is with this view and vision that we are currently seeking anAccounts Payable Specialist, based out of our Canadian headquarters in Laval, QC. We are looking for someone who is curious, dynamic, and enjoys taking on recent challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage the general Accounts Payable mailbox
- Process invoices in the ERP system
- Collaborate closely with buyers, internal stakeholders, and receiving teams to understand, document, and resolve price and quantity variances before invoice processing.
- Reconciliation of accounts payable accounts with suppliers’ statements
- Process expense accounts
- Maintain accounts payable in the system
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within Accounts Payable and complete special projects or other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel)




- Experience with an ERP system; SYSPRO experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of transactions.
- Commitment to service quality and teamwork.
