Organize Healthy Aging activities in Oshawa while applying therapeutic recreation expertise and supporting patients and residents across CCC and Rehab.

As an Activities Consultant with Lakeridge Health, you will organize, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate activity programs. The regular full time position supports the Healthy Aging Program within CCC and Rehab. You will collaborate with care teams, community partners, assistants, and volunteers to deliver patient-driven programming.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day programming schedules and priorities
- Coordinate activities with CCC and Rehab teams
- Plan special events, outings, and community partnerships
- Provide direction to assistants and volunteers




- Evaluate activity programs for patients and residents

Requirements:

- Therapeutic Recreation Program Diploma and Registered Therapeutic Recreation of Ontario membership
- Minimum two years of hospital setting experience
- Experience supporting seniors and cognitively impaired clients
- Knowledge of community resources and program evaluation
- Effective leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
