This casual Community Support Worker assists the Outreach Team serving people near Union Gospel Mission. The work includes material support, relational support, referrals, recordkeeping, and Christian ministry. Solid interpersonal skills, adaptability, confidentiality, and teamwork are central to the position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build relationships with community members visiting the Centre
- Provide material support and referrals to external services
- Liaise with service agencies and maintain accurate records
- Plan activities under Supervisor direction and attend training
- Maintain Centre security,



cleanliness, and policy compliance

Requirements:

- Agreement with UGM’s Mission Statement and Statement of Faith
- Personal knowledge of Jesus Christ’s saving work
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under supervision
- Basic English, computer skills, and confidentiality awareness
- Twelve months’ related experience preferred; Class 5 licence preferred
