Full Stack DesignerApex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our consulting practice has an opening for a Full Stack Designer with strong Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and application-design experience to support a Top Five Bank.

Job Description
Apex Systems is looking for a Full Stack Designer to design and develop enterprise applications across back-end services, APIs, microservices, and front-end components. This role combines solution design with significant hands-on development and is focused on application development, cloud modernization, and AI integration. More than 50% of the role will involve hands-on development.
· Design and develop full-stack enterprise applications.
· Build Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
· Develop back-end services and front-end application components.
· Create proofs of concept and code modifications to validate proposed solutions.
· Support application modernization and migration from on-premises to cloud services.
· Integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities into enterprise applications from a deployment and integration perspective.
· Use Python for automation, scripting, and validation.
· Translate business requirements into technical designs.
· Produce high-level designs and supporting design artifacts.
· Provide technical guidance throughout development, testing, deployment, and post-delivery support.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and solution designers.Required Skills & Experience· Strong hands-on experience with Java 17, 18, or 21.
· Strong experience with Spring Boot.
· Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.




· Full-stack application design and development experience, including front-end/UI development.
· Experience with Node.js.
· Experience with SQL Server.
· Experience with Azure and OpenShift.
· Experience with software and microservices design patterns.
· Experience supporting cloud migration or application-modernization initiatives.
· Experience developing proofs of concept and completing hands-on coding.
· Experience deploying or integrating Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities.
· Experience with Python for automation, scripting, and validation.
· Experience with Bootstrap.
· Solid requirements-gathering and technical-design skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage changing or ambiguous requirements.Nice to Have Skills & Experience· Banking or financial-services experience.
· Familiarity with banking products and financial applications.
· Contact-centre experience.
