We have a position for a Spanish / Hebrew Teacher, Gr 5-7 (Level 2) starting September 2024 until the end of June 2025. This is a twelve blocks per week position, (0.425 FTE).Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstrate professionalism in all job-related situations including interactions with students, parents, colleagues and community membersBuild strong relationships with all stakeholdersDesign,



implement and differentiate engaging lessons to meet the needs of diverse learnersAssess student performance using a variety of educational instrumentsPrepare periodic reports pertaining to student progress and instructionMaintain high-expectations for student learningCommunicate students' needs to all stakeholdersManage classroom procedures through consistent, well-articulated expectationsPromote a positive school workplace that enhances student learningMaintain a positive and collaborative climate across grade levelsProactively participate in school community programs and eventsPerform other duties as assignedSkills:Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication abilitiesExhibits a growth mindsetSeeks to improve through self-reflection, constructive feedback and/or professional development activitiesEducation: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferredCertification/License: Valid BC teaching certificate required.
