Provide complex mental health nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Carewest’s George Boyack location in Calgary. Work temporary part time days and evenings.

Reporting to the Director of Care, this LPN supports adults with mental illness, dementia, or other cognitive disorders. The work includes comprehensive assessments, client care planning, medication administration, and monitoring changing conditions. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team while supporting physical and psychosocial needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete comprehensive assessments for complex care clients
- Develop and implement physical and psychosocial care plans
- Monitor client conditions and report status changes
- Administer prescribed medications safely
- Supervise medication delivery by unregulated staff

Requirements:

- Graduate from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program
- Maintain current active registration with CLHA
- Hold current Basic Life Support Provider CPR
- Demonstrated leadership skills are required
- Nursing experience is preferred
