Ontario Power Generation seeks a Thermal Operating Supervisor for a 12-month contract. Under the Chief Operating Engineer, you will lead shift staff, coordinate safe plant operations, prioritize resources, and address technical issues. The position requires regulatory knowledge, stakeholder communication, and strong operational judgment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise, assign, monitor, coach, and support operations staff
- Perform Shift Engineer or Assistant Shift Engineer responsibilities
- Coordinate shift work and arrange additional operational resources
- Monitor equipment and respond to operating issues




- Maintain health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or equivalent and Second Class Operating Engineer Certificate
- Ten years of power plant control room experience
- Qualification as a power plant control room or board operator
- Six years of supervisory experience in an operational setting
- IESO, dispatch, energy-market, and work-protection experience
