As part of the growth of its transactional practice in Montreal, a nationally established business law firm is seeking a lawyer to join its Mergers & Acquisitions team.The firm advises corporate, entrepreneurial and institutional clients on strategic transactions across Canada and internationally. This opportunity is suited to a professional looking to grow within a collaborative platform offering strong exposure to complex transactional mandates and multidisciplinary teams across the country.The Role As an Mergers and Acquisitions lawyer, you will actively participate in all stages of major transactional matters, including acquisitions, business sales, strategic investments and corporate reorganizations.The role offers direct exposure to high-impact mandates involving significant financial and commercial considerations.Responsibilities Participate in mergers and acquisitions involving private and public companiesWork on acquisitions and divestitures structured as asset or share dealsContribute to the legal structuring of complex transactional operationsDraft, review and negotiate a broad range of transaction documentsConduct corporate and commercial due diligencePrepare shareholders’ agreements,
