Lightform Corporate Head Office – Edmonton, AB

Lightform is growing — and our accounting team needs to grow with it. We're looking for an experienced accounting professional to own our accounts payable with precision and help modernize our workflows. You'll work closely with our Controller, Assistant Controller, and purchasing team, and you'll have a real voice in improving tools, controls, and processes.

What You’ll Do

- Own the full AP cycle: invoice intake, coding, three-way matching, approvals, and payment runs
- Ensure payments are accurate, properly supported, on time, and optimized for early-pay discounts
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Prepare bank and credit card reconciliations, including foreign currency transactions
- Maintain GL accounts and support accruals and month-end close
- Identify and lead improvements such as AP automation, electronic approvals, EFT workflows, and better ERP utilization




- Support the Controller and Assistant Controller with reporting, audits, and special projects

What You Bring

- 3+ years of accounting experience with a strong AP foundation and exposure to GL or month-end
- Exceptional attention to detail — you catch coding errors, pricing mismatches, duplicates, and missing documentation
- Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle and how AP impacts reporting and controls
- ERP experience and strong Excel skills; AP automation or workflow tools are an asset
- A track record of improving a process or implementing a new tool
- Clear communication, strong organization, and comfort working independently or with a team
