*Job Description*

King Freight Lines Limited is seeking a Red Seal Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team in our Pictou, NS location. We are looking for a qualified technician who will perform work on our fleet of Company Vehicles, keeping them in top operating condition.

*Duties and Responsibilities*

* Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems
* Perform vehicle computer diagnostics
* Repair vehicle mechanical systems
* Keep work area clean and organized
* Follow safety guidelines - injury prevention policies
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and cleanliness
* Report work accidents or emergencies to management immediately

*Required Skills and Qualifications*

* Registered Red Seal (preferred), may consider a second or third block apprentice




* Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team including supervision of apprentices
* Excellent communication skills
* Must have valid driver’s license (Class 3 or 1 would be an asset)
* Must be able to legally work in Canada without sponsorship

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
