Apply systems validation and low-level programming at Tenstorrent, working onsite in Toronto or Vancouver on AI computing hardware. Explore silicon, software, and packaging.
This internship supports teams spanning systems and silicon validation, system software, design, architecture, and packaging. You may contribute to post-silicon testing, firmware, drivers, operating systems, hardware interfaces, PCB design, or mechanical and thermal analysis. The work connects software, silicon architecture, and physical chip constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist post-silicon testing under real-world workloads
- Develop firmware, drivers, and diagnostic software
- Define and evaluate system architectures and interfaces
- Optimize power delivery and high-speed PCB performance
- Perform electromagnetic, mechanical, and stress analysis
Requirements:
- Pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant engineering discipline
- Coursework or projects in embedded systems or board-level design
- Experience with C, C++, Python, or hardware tools
- Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering or computer architecture
- Curiosity about software, silicon, packaging, and PCBs
Build practical experience across validation, firmware, architecture, and packaging while supporting Tenstorrent’s high-performance AI platform development.
