Our client is looking for a Senior Identity Management Specialist to support day-to-day cyber operations and projects as required (Entra ID, MFA, passkeys , and identity policies ).

This is a six month contract to start with a robust potential for renewal. It requires someone in office 4 days per week downtown Calgary.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on identity expert to support and improve an enterprise identity environment. Working with the Cyber Operations team, you will provide day-to-day technical support while identifying gaps, recommending improvements, implementing changes, and supporting upgrades across a range of identity technologies.

This role requires broad identity management experience and the ability to take ownership of technical issues and improvements from identification through implementation. You will help mature the environment while supporting capabilities such as Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, passkeys, and identity policies.

Must Haves

- Broad hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), supporting and administering identity technologies across an enterprise environment.
- Experience troubleshooting, configuring, and implementing identity solutions and changes, including identifying gaps and resolving issues independently.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft identity technologies, particularly Microsoft Entra ID, with experience supporting capabilities such as MFA and Conditional Access policies.
- Demonstrated ability to take technical ownership,



recommend improvements, and follow through on operational issues, process improvements, and technology upgrades.

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with passkeys and modern authentication methods.
- Experience supporting identity technology upgrades, process improvements, or environment maturity initiatives.
- Knowledge of identity security and related security controls.
- Experience with PowerShell or scripting to support identity administration and automation.
- Exposure to CyberArk, SailPoint, or other enterprise identity applications.
