Oncology nursing and chemotherapy care define this temporary part-time Registered Nurse opportunity at Humber River Health’s Wilson Site. Rotating shifts are required.

As a Registered Nurse on the 13 West Oncology Unit, you will support patients across consultation, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, palliative, and supportive care. Humber River Health provides hospital teaching and certification for chemotherapy administration. The position requires computerized documentation, coordinated care, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer chemotherapy after completing hospital-provided teaching and certification
- Plan and coordinate care with various team members
- Document patient care using computerized systems




- Participate in project teams or hospital committees
- Precept nursing students and mentor current nursing staff

Requirements:

- Current Registered Nurse registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Two years of recent oncology experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient assessment skills
- Availability for rotating eight- and twelve-hour shifts
