This part-time, temporary Respiratory Therapist position reports to the Manager, Critical Care and Respiratory Services. The work combines therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, complex equipment maintenance, patient teaching, and collaboration. Recent inpatient acute or critical care experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan therapeutic procedures for patients with heart and lung disorders
- Implement diagnostic procedures across clinical care areas
- Operate and maintain complex respiratory therapy equipment
- Provide patient teaching and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Use full scope, including intubation and arterial line insertion

Requirements:

- Current Ontario respiratory therapist registration in good standing
- Current BCLS and NRP certifications
- Recent inpatient acute or critical care experience
- Ability to work throughout Brightshores Health System
- Self-directed practice with solid communication and critical thinking
