As Director of Sport, you will establish coaching best practice, coordinate staff deployment, and manage competitive fixtures. You will teach sport to pupils in Years 1-8 while supporting sports scholars, reporting pupil progress, and developing the department’s vision. The role also contributes to boarding or day duties, activities, trips, and the wider through-school curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and monitor coaching best practice across sports
- Manage balanced fixtures, team selection, and sportsmanship
- Coordinate staffing, transport, budgets, and sporting administration
- Teach structured curriculum sport lessons for Years 1-8
- Oversee equipment, policies, schemes of work, and events
