Raise seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer for a 12-month contract supporting utility-scale projects across the USA and Canada. Review EPC deliverables, assess solar, wind, BESS, and HV substation designs, and guide work through development, construction, commissioning, and closeout. The role coordinates contractors, consultants, utilities, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review EPC engineering packages for completeness, constructability, and compliance
- Assess solar PV, wind, BESS, and substation electrical designs
- Support utility interconnection submissions and technical requirements
- Evaluate technical risks and recommend cost-effective solutions




- Provide guidance through construction, commissioning, and project closeout

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- P.Eng. designation or eligibility through APEGA or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ electrical engineering design, construction, and commissioning experience
- Minimum 3 years’ renewable energy project experience
- Knowledge of HV substations, power analysis, and protection systems
