Lead underground jumbo drilling with precise drill-pattern execution, ground assessment, and strong safety practices across mining operations.

This Jumbo Leader and Bolting Jumbo Operator role combines mechanised drilling, ground support, and crew leadership underground. You will read mine instruction plans, drill drive patterns to design, and assess face conditions. The position also supports development, production, stripping, and related mining tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform pre-operational and post-operational equipment checks
- Drill drive patterns using hydraulic or electric jumbo drills
- Assess ground conditions and implement required ground control
- Lead crews and support underground mining activities




- Deputise for the underground Shift Supervisor when absent

Requirements:

- Ability to read and accurately follow mine instruction plans
- Skill drilling holes to specified line, gradient, and profile
- Commitment to safe work systems, inspections, and reporting
- Ability to communicate with surveyors, geologists, and engineers
- Ability to supervise and train operators when required
