Coordinate underground construction for a soft rock mine, focusing on field safety, quality, scope, schedule, and cost monitoring. Support the Construction Manager through daily project oversight.

This individual contributor role provides construction coordination services according to the Client’s project management principles. You will monitor field conditions, recommend corrective actions, and execute the construction plan with project peers and operations teams. The position requires contractor coordination, safety auditing, documentation, and schedule monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend contractor lineups and communicate applicable hazards and alerts
- Visit assigned construction sites daily whenever logistical constraints allow
- Conduct weekly workplace audits and safety inspections
- Coordinate contractors, meetings,



field activities, and construction schedules
- Maintain project logs, reports, records, and required documentation

Requirements:

- Understanding of underground construction scopes and contractor activities
- Ability to review JHAs, procedures, and safety plans
- Ability to investigate incidents and follow Incident Management guidelines
- Ability to participate in Process Hazard Reviews
- Ability to coordinate Management of Change processes
