Salary Range: $105,300.00 To $121,095.00 AnnuallyJob Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed in a protected, timely, and cost-effective manner. This position will provide leadership and support for a collaborative and positive working rapport between the maintenance team and production. The Maintenance Supervisor will also be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing maintenance projects and initiatives to improve the overall efficiency of the department.Responsibilities: Build and lead a high-performing maintenance team, focusing on collaboration and a solutions-oriented approachCreate clear expectations for the team and hold them accountable for meeting performance standardsRecommend, plan, lead and participate in process improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiativesDevelop standard procedures to ensure maintenance tasks are performed safely and with qualityOversee the installation/maintenance of all mechanical/electrical equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with manufacturer’s specifications and code requirementsManage key KPIs, related to mill operation.Work closely with the operations team to identify and implement site-wide improvements and initiativesEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, quality, and maintenance standards and programsMaintain positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersPrepare timely reports and maintain accurate records and filesEnsure that parts, materials,



specialized tools, and equipment are in place for efficient execution of planned workDevelop, populate, and maintain a comprehensive database designed to monitor and improve maintenance department efficiency, including identifying areas for cost savings and preventative maintenance schedulesReport on employee attendance, time of work, and track and manage holiday requestsQualifications and Education: Minimum of five years of experience in reliable maintenance5 years of supervisory experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of work management processesComprehensive understanding of maintenance best practices and protocolsUnderstanding of predictive and reliable maintenanceRed Seal Trade Certification as a Millwright or Electrician is an assetDemonstrated skills or knowledge of budgeting and financial analysisProven ability to hold people accountableDetail-oriented and organizedStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build a rapport and work with integrityAbility to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, and demonstrate strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skillsProficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of MP2, NAV, and ADP Workforce Now is an assetProven commitment to safety management and leadershipPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to work in high noise areasAbility to work in confined spaces and at heightsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions#J-18808-Ljbffr
