Lead finishing-barn operations at Canada Packers through swine production expertise, employee coaching, and accountable daily management. This role is onsite farm leadership.

Reporting to the Manager, Hog Production, the Hog Barn Manager oversees all areas and activities within the finishing barn. Responsibilities include workforce planning, performance management, training, purchasing, inventory, safety, quality assurance, animal welfare, and sustainability. The role supports production and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, train, and evaluate employees
- Manage recruitment, orientation, staffing, payroll, and attendance records
- Implement quality, food safety, and animal welfare policies




- Maintain secure operations and routine site maintenance
- Review data, inventory, equipment issues, and corrective actions

Requirements:

- Minimum two years of swine production experience
- Minimum two years of leadership experience
- Valid driver's license and computer knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage priorities, pressure, and complex tasks
